About Us

Scholtes Auto in Worthington, MN is a fourth generation family-owned business serving SW Minnesota, NW Iowa and SE South Dakota since 1932.  This is when the family went into selling fine quality automobiles starting with Oldsmobile in Wilmont, MN.  Then, in 1960 a dealership was opened in Worthington, MN with DeSoto & Plymouth franchise. As time went on, the family decided to add GMC to the list.  Many franchises have come and gone through our lot.  Scholtes Auto has been known to be a franchise dealer for Chrysler, Dodge & eventually Jeep. 

Through the many years of selling vehicles, we have also sold Arctic Cat Snowmobiles, Chrysler Boats and even Pier Pleasure Docks.  

It is due to all our years of expierence that we now offer many services to our customers: vehicle sales, financing, consignment sales, service, rentals, parts, detailing, auto body, dent removal, glass repair, accessories, towing and so much more!
